Balducci Builders, Inc. is a full service custom home builder, remodeler, and residential land developer. We are family owned and operated, and have been a trusted name in the Richmond area since our founding in 1986. Over the past almost 40 years, we have built hundreds of new fully-custom homes and developed over 15 neighborhoods. Balducci Builders, Inc. is a fully licensed and insured Class “A” contractor with an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Dennis Balducci
OwnerMy passion for home building began years ago working with my father, who developed residential property for more than 50 years. Both of my parents instilled in us the importance of family. That’s why we’ve been able to run a successful family business for so many years. I love meeting people from across the region and helping them realize their building and remodeling dreams. I’ve lived in Richmond my whole life and have been building homes here for over a quarter of a century. After hours, you’ll find me spending time with my wife and three children, or watching and playing all kinds of sports (baseball, basketball, tennis, etc.). It’s important to live a balanced life, and it’s nice when your home is the center of it. I really enjoy helping families create homes that feel perfect for them.
A native of Richmond, Dennis laid the foundation of his career through the study of electrical wiring. After achieving the level of Master Electrician, Dennis joined his brother Chris in 1986 to form Balducci Builders, Inc. Dennis and Chris also started an electrical company, SmartWire360; Dennis runs the daily operation of this company as well as sharing in the operating responsibilities for Balducci Builders. Dennis is a hands on manager who can frequently be found on the jobsite or meeting with customers. When asked to describe his business philosophy, Dennis said, “I want to build the kind of homes I would put my own family in.”

Can you spot the similarity? No? That’s because in the photographs above, the common factor is not something that can be seen; rather, it’s something to be understood. They are all tied together by the last name: Balducci. They give a face to the company by depicting the numerous generations of proud, traditional, and family oriented Italians. These are the people that instilled in the current generation of Balducci’s, the valued characteristics that have enabled the company’s longevity. Through their moral commitment to high standards, work ethic, and an emphasis on family, the Balducci’s have not only survived the past almost 40 years, but have excelled. The Balducci’s dedication to service and the high quality of their work are products of their upbringing, and are the reasons for their esteemed reputation.
